Nashville has definitely gotten worse over the last decade, but fortunately there are other ways to get through when a particular road gets jammed up. I always check Google maps just prior to entering and change my course accordingly.

Atlanta is the worst I've experienced.

Wreck at the light south of the causeway and another about half way across. Took forever to get through. Wife was having a fit. Oysters and cold draft helped the healing process.

This ain't nothing compared to driving in Dallas traffic. When I moved to Frisco the population was 25K. 10 years later it was 150K. I'll take Huntsville traffic any day over my Dallas commute.

I don't go through Nashville too often , but I don't think many drivers use the by-pass , choosing to go through town. I'm guilty .

I don't seem to have a problem with Atlanta , it is super crowded , but traffic always seems to be moving along . Many times 6 wide, bumper to bumper and very fast. And that is on the by-pass.

I don't understand why they're not putting those large solar farms on top of all the huge plants.
If they want to install solar, ok whatever but no sense taking farm land if it can be at least reduced or avoided.

Don't know about that area but the $ Google is offering up here to landowners is much more that they could ever make row cropping.

Except for my time in the military I’ve lived in the TN Valley for 39 years, 25 as a working member of society and while I understand that the growth we’ve experienced have made things difficult for certain folks, for the vast majority of residents this has been a tremendous thing and quite frankly the envy of the rest of the state and most of the country. In just about every “top place to live in America” list, Huntsville is either at or near the top and it’s nowhere near slowing down. Surely even the most grumpiest of Aldeer members can see the good in that.

Tax payer subsidized money. The leftist wackos want to crow about the environment but don’t seem to care about environmental impact on the thousands of acres cleared of vegetation to support these solar panels and the loss wildlife of habitat that comes with it, once these panels are put in the ground is ruined for anything else. It makes more sense to give the credits to home owners and small businesses....And I hate Hsv and Madison too and I’m starting to hate Athens!! Wish we could pick up everything we own and transplant it to Elkmont or Lawrence, Lauderdale!

Then if the landowner is making money, why not put it on top of a plant and double dip.

Income from the product you produce, income from the panels and an added bonus is that the panels will help protect the roof from hail(at least in theory anyways).

You might wanta move farther than that if you plan on living very much longer. Growth is going to continue in extreme NA , eventually to some of those areas you mentioned I'll bet.

There's a small town hour south of Huntsville called altoona I'd welcome y'all to come we ain't even got a red light it's declined over the years and it won't support a grocery store any longer

Got no reason to doubt you about the TN. valley changing but I still find it comical when someone not from the area complains about a population increase when at some point they are part of the problem. Just so you know I feel the same way about OB (canal road sucks) but 23years ago we bought a place down there so I'm part of my own complaint.
