Kinda dumb....really only works for anyone who doesn't have a license at all (which I guess may be the intent, to bring in new folks). Anyone that bought a license already has one good through August...and it's not like you can use this to extend it another year, because if you buy a license mid-year it still only goes through end of August. So this "promo" is useless for anyone that already has a fishing license.

Love it, if it get people in the outdoors vs watching the TV.

Love it, if it get people in the outdoors vs watching the TV. screw that.....there's too many folks hunting/fishing where I want to hunt/fish. Selfishly, I want just enough people hunting/fishing that our right to do so is protected, and not a single person more.

Well now, they do have to go spend $25 in the ad hoc dan moultrie backed academy sports and outdoors. Is Academy gonna reimburse the state?

They must’ve made quite a bit of money from the baiting privileges in order to be handing out fishing license now. Well now, they do have to go spend $25 in the ad hoc dan moultrie backed academy sports and outdoors. Is Academy gonna reimburse the state? Both of these are idiotic statements. The DCNR cannot give away licenses, according to state law. Academy cuts a check to the state. It's called marketing.
