Saw the sun popped out and was thinking that i didn't like that with the weather predictions for tonight. But then I saw one of those college storm chaser trucks on a overpass between Athens and 565. Now I am wondering what they might know that we don't.

I know we don't need 20mph winds I've got that kinda wind right now. My little hilltop castle gets wind when nobody else gets wind. But I was just out to the barn and I swear it's already 20 mph.

Its not yet windy up in my neck of the woods but I just had to roll out back and hook up a trailer and man is it soft! I dont remember it being this soft here. IF this old cummins truck wasnt four wheel drive I would be stuck for sure. Glad I got the trailer out before morning, may be worse!

I saw one of our town residents sink his new F250 in his front yard this week. He was evidently trying to get his boat turned around to back into the shed. But he pulled off the concrete driveway, into the front yard, and rapidly dug himself four holes.

But he pulled off the concrete driveway, into the front yard, and rapidly dug himself four holes. Thats an easy thing to do right now! Mines rolling on 35" mud tires, posi in the back ETC and I had to use 4x4 to go on flat ground. If there was anything on this trailer I would have went and got it with the tractor lol. At least if I do get stuck I have a track loader to pull it out with, but I can only imagine what that would do to the ground right about now. It would be ugly. Jason

Brother, I understand what you are saying. But you need to speak in layman terms for these other folk.

They just delayed school here for 2 hrs?? Wow.....for flooding? School buses getting down sketchy roads. Last thing we need to see is a bus full of kids getting swamped.
