I do. I repent of my sin and feel convicted of it. As a Christian, it's important to feel convicted of sin and turn away from it, not to encourage it. There is a difference between a single act of sin and leading an unrepentant lifestyle of sin. Jesus would not attend a ceremony celebrating sin.
And you didn't answer my question.

Yet you sin every day - perhaps the same sin you did yesterday and the day before. Please don't take it as an attack, we all fail and do exactly what I just described. I can't speak for whether Jesus would attend the ceremony, but Mark 3:17 indicates o that he just might. So does Matthew 7:1-5. I am not saying that Jesus would give them a pass on the sin, certainly not - we have to look no further than the woman that was going to be stoned for an adulterous relationship, but he didn't turn his back on her.

It is not my job to condemn people for their actions, it is my job to set an example - however poor of an example that might be.

I sin less and and am repelled by sin because I have been transformed by the renewing of my mind. The Good News has to begin with the bad news. We are in trouble because we have an inherent sin nature. We are born God-hating. By the given example, we cannot participate in a scheduled act of sin, such as given by the OP. That's like telling your teenager not to have sex, but if you do, send me an invitation and I'll come watch. We can love people all we want but if we allow them to continue on in a lifestyle that will send them to Hell, that IS NOT love. The biggest problem in American Christianity is that we do not take sin seriously. So many "Christians" look like the world, smell like the world, talk like the world. You can't tell the difference between them because they are full of the world. “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.

I’m not getting into the whole who sins and who don’t thing. I will say though that your statement is contradicting. You wouldn’t be a member of a church that endorses that, but you’d endorse it yourself by attending a ceremony between to gays. I’m sorry I don’t understand your angle here.

Any man divorces his wife for any reason other than sexual immorality commits adultery . Anyone marring the divorced women commits adultery . Thats what book of Matthew says.

Folks we are living in the times of this ol world. Gradually getting worse . The devil smile is getting wider every day. Probably not in our lifetimes but its gonna get worse an worse with people turning backs on god s teaching even in church nowadays. Its just sickening to me.

If you think this is the worst the world has ever been you should read what happened with Sodham and Gomorah, Ancient Rome, the early church and a several other periods of history. We aren't back to that level, yet.

Nearly tore the church apart. Why only nearly? Right is right and wrong is wrong. Folks need to choose a side and stand up for what is right and it sure is not supporting gay marriage.

Amen. But they won’t preach that in church.

No and I would make sure that church understood why I would not be attending.

Wouldn't you be participating in their sin?

Have you ever sinned?

I do. I repent of my sin and feel convicted of it. As a Christian, it's important to feel convicted of sin and turn away from it, not to encourage it. There is a difference between a single act of sin and leading an unrepentant lifestyle of sin. Jesus would not attend a ceremony celebrating sin.

This is correct.

Two facts:

You can’t be gay or a democrat and be a Christian.

Bunch of damn bible thumping hypocrites. Sin is sin. There’s gays and other sinners in every church besides it’s not for you to judge. “Let ye without sin cast the first stone”. Since my divorce my eyes have been opened about the self righteous bible thumpers and ministers.

You’re supposed to repent from sin. Not KNOWINGLY keep advancing and living in sin. The Bible is pretty clear on homosexuality. To perpetuate that is not repenting.

Our Christian mission (yours and mine) is not to moralize but to reach the broken with a message of hope. The Bible is for encouragement and hope. That is all it is and all it needs to be.

It’s sad when Christians focus on the 10% — the theological differences — that separate denominations rather than unify in our love for Christ. If we would instead rally around our love for Jesus and walk in that love, this would be a better forum and a better world.

Worship where you wish, shoot turkeys over decoys, hunt deer over corn, but most importantly live for the glory of God alone.

We worship and show our love of Christ by living out what we say we are. "If you love me, obey my commands". John 14:15
It's not about moralism or theology. All those other issues are secondary issues. Are you saved and do you act like your saved?
So many "Christians" make no attempt to live out what they say they are. Isn't that important?

I too wish more Christians would act like Christians. That matters and would be transformative. However, in the end, we’re saved by God’s grace, not our good works. God’s peace.

The only "hot" lesbians I've ever seen was in the movies. I'm willing to bet they are not.
