What climbers do y'all use to climb small pines?

I like to use Summit climbers, however they are not good for small trees because you can not adjust the cable any smaller. I have been using an API Crusader an it has been working well after I've silenced it quite a bit. However the crusader has metal braces which are susceptible to rust, fatigue and eventual breakage.

I really like the Crusader an am willing to do away with the metal braces and weld aluminum braces.

Don’t leave it in the woods and rust shouldn’t be a problem.

If my summit won't climb it, the tree ain't big enough to hold my fat azz.

I have a api bow hunter (new version) that works great on small trees. I also sharpened the teeth with a angle grinder so it grips oak trees well.

IF ya got up in a small tree you would look like a HUGE bear in that skinny tree and the deer would spot ya a mile off.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I used to have a tomcat climber that would stay stable on a tree that was way to small to be climbing in the first place. Sure do miss that stand.

What you do today, you have to sleep with tonight.

My Lonewolf will climb as small of a tree as you'd trust.
