I love a 2-man ladder stand for hunting solo.......MUCH better than a single. Nice and roomy.

I sat in an X-Stand Jayhawk X 18' this past weekend. It is probably the most comfortable 2 person ladder I've ever used.

I like the ones that are curved around the tree. Big dog (LJ) makes one that has held up nicely. Rivers edge also does but I don't like the mesh seats. But if you take yours down after season it would be fine. Plus you won't have the snow and ice problem.

The ones that are straight may be fine for guns, but once you're standing or have 2 people in them you stick out too far. I like singles on big trees for that reason.

Our club bought 2 of the denalli hawk 2 man stands this year. They are very comfortable and well built. They are heavy though and it's a 3 man job putting them up.

There’s a local guy here that builds ladders and they are by far the best to me. He lives in Madrid which is close to Florida. His name is Jimmy 334-714-4424

I second this. I don't own one but have been in one and they are fine.

I put up a 20' x-stand Jayhawk 2 man, it is really comfortable and has the locking jaw system so it is very secure when putting it up before even putting on the straps up top. The thing I don't like is the seat which is a sling/millennium style seat has a big bar running right down the middle, so when hunting it as a single person, it's really not comfortable to sit in the middle of it. It's also huge and requires 3 people to put it up. We did it with 2 but it was a major struggle.

This.

We have 3 field and stream (before Dicks went stupid) stands that are robust, huge platforms and the tent accessory. I rather sit in big game envoy ladder stand due to the comfortable seat and sacrifice the room and wind blocking tent thingy on the F&S.

Meaning, they are tough to sit in for longer than an hour or so. At least the ones that I have sat in. The bar in the back is more than I can stand for a few hours, hence built for the attention span of a 4 yr. old.
