Anyone debating about voting for Sessions or any other republican running against a democrats is IN-effin-SANE. The worst of the worst republican is 100x better than the best democrat.
Yea,I never got the logic of forcing a them to nominate a better candidate next time by refusing to vote for the only republican choice. I know it's suppose to teach "them" a lesson to nominate a better candidate next time, but I am quite sure it only gives "them" exactly what they wanted in the first place. It's not about teaching lessons it's about voting good folks into office. Voting a piss poor republican do nothing like richard shelby who has been up there 75 yrs does what except give us something to bitch about. I am sick of voting for politicians.

I keep wondering why that bass turd doesn't get voted out. Everyone knows he is just a Democrat that changed his coat but not his colors.
No way the President endorses sessions, he's smarter than some of you and see he's a swamp rat. it's like the old saying Screw me once shame on you, screw me twice shame on me(for being stupid and trusting you again !)

Screw anyone that thinks a vote for the snake Sessions is Ok. Are you freaking blind to the fact that he bears responsibility for the current shucks show in Washington ? I already said what I thought about Sessions.

If you don't vote for the Republican, you effectively gave a vote to the commie democrat, whether you like the Republican or not.
Bull, A vote is a 1. If I do not give my vote to anyone no one gets my 1. Simple, a non vote does not give any candidate a vote.

yeah, he performed just like Trump needed him to protect the Country. He's a worthless piece of crap. Make all the excuses you want, but he let America down and only an idiot would give a chance to do it again.

We will as long as we do not nominate Moore again That shouldn’t have mattered and just goes to show you Alabama was full of dumbasses that would prefer a flaming Democrat that would vote against everything they claim to support instead of a republican that would have voted inline with the party just because they didn’t like him. I have zero faith the the GOP voters after that debacle This. Roy should have never gotten the nomination, but once he did conservatives should have made sure he won the office. The whole state was eat up with dumbass through the whole process. I can't even read the rest of this thread because I know some of you voted for Jones or stayed at home.

Y'all blast away at me. I did not vote for Doug Jones, nor did I vote for Roy Moore and to be blunt, I never will vote for either of those two If the Republicans are silly enough to nominate him again, which thank goodness doesn't look to be happening again. Looks like it will be Tubby, my choice, or Sessions. Either of these two get my vote against Jones.
I certainly am not dumb enough to think that Jones would be swayed by voters to swap over and vote Republican. As long as there is a D after his name, he will vote how Pelosi tells him to. It's that simple. Rejoice though his time is coming nigh.

Can't believe we are back on this again:
You have 2 choices. One will win. This is an absolute. One will win. You have to decided between the two there is no other choice.
You didn't vote and Doug Won. Mickey Mouse didn't win. Doug won.
Now you complain about Doug's Policies.
Very Simple Concept many on here can't seem to grasp.
If you didn't vote... DO NOT COMPLAIN!
Play stupid games... win stupid prizes.

Those who don't vote because they don't like the choices are failing our system of government. You are throwing away your right to have a say in how our country will work over not only the next 4 years in the case of a presidential election.... but in many cases for decades. Think about Supreme Court nominations as an example. Our election system only cares about the votes that are counted. Candidates are members of political parties. Every candidate's vote will count in issues that will impact everyone's everyday lives. Maybe not on every issue but for t the majority of issues. Our system of government does not care about the people who think: If you don't vote for the Republican, you effectively gave a vote to the commie democrat, whether you like the Republican or not.
Bull, A vote is a 1. If I do not give my vote to anyone no one gets my 1. Simple, a non vote does not give any candidate a vote. Ben2, you must not understand Alabama Algebra. Not every candidate is ideal. Not every election is ideal. If you have any conservative views whatsoever.... then I don't know what you are thinking. Our system of government DOES NOT CARE that you don't like either candidate. DOES NOT CARE. You and everyone else with you.... will reap the benefits of 1 candidate or the other regardless. That is the BOTTOM LINE.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

I cannot believe those that did not learn from helping elect Jones by not voting for Moore. You didn't just hurt yourselves, you hurt the entire country. I did not vote for Doug Jones. With that out of the way, I think yall really don't appreciate how horrible a political candidate Roy Moore actually was. The guy was/is a total clown and used his office of Supreme Court Justice to grandstand and wasted taxpayer money doing so. Not once, but TWICE. Roy Moore is to Doug Jones what Hillary Clinton is to Donald Trump. Horrible, horrible, horrible political candidates. I had hoped Doug Jones would show some independence and bring back that Southern bluedog Democrat, but he, like all the other Democrats, fell in line with the far left of their party. I find it strange that they have no dissension in their ranks. So...... stop nominating horrible Republicans in the primaries. It's not my fault they throw up this awful candidates.

Basically what you are saying is you would give up your 2nd Amendment rights just so Roy Moore doesn't represent Alabama. It can get worse. Late term abortion is ok. Doug is for that. He is for everything the Democratic party represents. He has voted to overturn nearly all of Trump's vetos of Bills. Every single time you hear Nancy speak... he's for that and NOW.,....
So is the great State of Alabama.
Abortion after 20 weeks of pregnancy is OK says Alabama.
Federal Funding for Abortion Clinics. OK in Alabama.
Block Border Wall Funding. OK with Doug and the State of Alabama.
Brett M. Kavanaugh - Voted No. Alabamians didn't want him.
I'm not chastising anyone in particular, but please understand this is how this works. Nobody got taught a lesson:
Our political system didn't care who didn't like Roy did it?
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.
