Is there a glue that will weld two pieces together, not just bond them but make them as strong as one piece? Thanks

Those guys that build fish tanks on TV use a acrylic glue.

I’ve used scigrip for repair machine guards. It works good but will dry to a haze. It’s 2 parts. One makes it gooy and the other hardens it. We got it from Mac master Carr.

Thanks, I'm going to build a Plex rudder for my kayak.

Perch, yes there is. I’ve used it to build a sump for a saltwater aquarium. I can’t recall the name right now but it is easy to find. Basically it chemically melts the plexiglass and then dries and bonds the pieces together so it is as strong as the original. The caveat is that it is permanent as you might imagine which for me meant starting from scratch a couple of times.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Yeah, hornhntr sent me a link to some. I'm going to glue two pieces of 1/4 thick plex to each side of my existing rudder that are 4" longer. Thanks for the reply.
