My wife got a package today from UPS. She opened it when she got home and it had 2 brass sleeves about an inch in diameter and about 3 inches long. When I got home she asked if I ordered them. I had not and she certainly had not. The package had no return address that we could make out nor a packing label.

Has us stumped. I guess I could call UPS tomorrow and try to find out who and where they shipped from, but why bother over two little brass sleeves?

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Can you run the tracking # to see where it shipped from?

My wife had this same thing happen during Christmas holiday
She got a set of cookware and some pecans.
They were shipped from Walmart and we ordered nothing from them
It turned out it was supposed to go to a woman with the same name and they sent it to the wrong person
Took a good bit of investigating to find out the When Why How of the matter

Good luck with UPS customer service if you have to use them for anything in your discovery. The ground delivery portion of their business is PATHETIC too.

Go online and check your credit card and bank statements. Could be possible fraud, and when the merchant ran the card - they shipped it to you. That happened with my wife’s credit card with Cricket Wireless.

UPS should be able to use the tracking number to tell where they were shipped from. Every shippper used to have their own customer number that would be included in the tracking number.

Had a similar thing happen to me a few years ago. Went home for lunch and hear a knock on the front door and see the Fed-Ex guy drop a big box and then leave. I'm thinking what the h3ll has my wife ordered now. Keep eating lunch and finally curiosity gets the better of me. Bring the box in, see addressed to me so I open it. It's two, top of the line Dell laptop computers. Check the invoice and sure enough it has my name and address on the Dell invoice. Still thinking, what the h3ll has my wife done. Call the credit card company and sure enough, a charge for $4,000 and change on my card. So I begin the process of getting these things returned.

Fast forward, next day I am at home for lunch and a UPS guy shows up to "pick up a package". After some questions, I see that he has been scheduled to pick up a package and ship it to Philly, PA. Research and its going to a Mailbox, Etc location. Long story short, someone got my credit card info and ordered two laptops. At that time, the order was required to go to the billing address of the card so it came to my house. The crooks, then sent a UPS guy the next day, assuming that I would think it was a legitimate return pickup, with instructions to send to a forwarding address. Actually, pretty clever on their part.

Took all the info to the police. Sgt was pretty honest and told me that nothing would happen. "If I call Philadelphia PD and tell them that $4,000 worth of stolen computers were being shipped to a Mailbox, Etc in their city, they would laugh and hang up the phone"

If someone purchased them there would have been an invoice included. So who knows ?

All I know is there is a person somewhere, likely a man, that needs two brass sleeves to get something fixed. I imagine he is getting pissed off even more by the day as he awaits the package sitting on our table.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I was expecting a package yesterday. Got the text from informed delivery that it was delivered as I was turning in going home to eat dinner because the mail usually runs right at noon. So I get there and see the mail lady not even to my house yet. Didn't even stop at my house. About 1 I called the Post Office and told them what happened. He got on his computer and said they had gps when they scan a package. He comes back and said she got the right house number but wrong street. He said he would call her. She was pulling in when I was leaving to go back to work. It was there when I got home. Mistakes happen but they seem to happen an awful lot. I've got packages left for me were addressed to now where close to me. I called and reported and was told the would pick it up tomorrow. After the 4th day of non pick up I decide to see what was inside. It was a Mary Kay sales/demo package. I let the women folk fight over it. They should all have gps and the scanner should alert them if it is a wrong address. I just don't think that would be that hard to do now days.

I got a pair of knockoff tom ford sunglasses a couple weeks ago. Have no idea why. The return address was in china. They were sent to me. As far as I can tell, I didnt pay for them.
