It’s winter. Deer need carbs. Corn is carbs.

Bought a used 10 ton grain bin from a catfish farmer several years ago and have corn gluten soyhull 50/50 mix delivered from southern feed and seed for around $220 a ton a few times a year. Looks like the stuff in your pics, but you better not let it get the slightest bit damp. Have fifty five gallon buckets on a old 6x12 trailer, pull under the chute and load up in around 20 minutes.

Double D feeders by Wilderness Calls out of Georgia. Bin style gravity feeder with no tubes to clog up using this type of feed and its pretty much coon proof.

I’ve seen where people in Texas feed deer with bales or piles of cotton seed, would that work here? Probably. I was on a place that the deer were eating the cotton plants. They're goats and eat anything. I wouldnt ne surprised if there was a photo of one standing on top of a car.

For those of you who mentioned the cull dry peanuts, where are you getting these and how much do they cost? I get them from pen tons farm supply in Allentown, Florida. They are 8.80 for a huge bag. Allentown is about 25 miles south of Brewton.
