I think it closed briefly but was re-opened I heard.

The original guy closed it. A lady reopened it later. Then closed again due to divorce (according to the rumor mill). I've heard it is back open again now, but I'm not certain. It is on the opposite side of town from my work so it isn't really an option for me with it being a ~20 drive each way.

Michelle's was closed ,3pm eastern.

Awesome chicken, but I've been disappointed with the sides on the last few visits. I hope yours were good. Where is the roll? Second best thing they have after the chicken.

Get you some toilet paper at Win-Dixie before you head back to B'ham. You'll be in a full on sweat by the time to make it to Union Springs.

As previously mentioned, don't leave town without a dozen doughnuts (PLAIN!) from Doughnut King. Some of the best I've ever had.
Also, Superior Pecans is worth a stop, but be careful. It can hurt the wallet fast. Dropped $200+ in there today.

I was walking into the Eufaula Walmart recently beside two guys who looke d to be here on a construction job. They asked if I lived here . When I told them yes, they wanted to know where a Chinese buffet was and where a liquor store was. I told them about a mile back toward town right across the street from each other. I ran into them in the store a few minutes later and said hey guys I get why you asked me about the buffet because I am a big guy and you knew I would know where all the buffets are, but dang , do I look like a drunk too ?😀

Done got that kind of full where breathing makes you rock back and forth.
