I don't hunt over bait so I havent/won't buy one. If you want to, I don't care. I didn't care last year before the license and I won't care next year. My choice. Your choice. But y'all better believe their is a money grab within the Dept. Money can get things done like never before.
Since I have chosen not to bait (years and years ago) I only scanned the rules and regs for it. Did I read it correctly that baiting license is needed for hunting over salt now also? Why would you hunt over salt? Think you would be hunting out of season to be productive?
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

Nobody is forcing people to hunt over bait. The baiting license is even and option. Don’t have to buy it either.
But yes it’s a money grab and you can bet that it won’t be $15 for long. If others are scattering corn everywhere or have feeders in fields you have to have the license

I know this may puzzle some here. But I saw over 25 deer this pm. Not a one of them fed at a feeder. All feeding on triticale and red clover that’s well fertilized.
