I have an issue with a Ruger M77 and the factory requested I send it to them. Have any of you shipped a firearm via UPS, USPS, or Fed Ex? Would it be easier to ship via a dealer? Ruger states they will be happy to sell me a prepaid shipping label for $30. Anyone have any advice?

They sent me a prepaid shipping label. Simply took it to UPS. Had to pick up the return at the FFL location of my choice.

I shipped a pistol back to Ruger last year. They sent me a ups shipping label I printed off of an email. I could of used FedEx too but was closer to ups. I just talked the box up real good and used paper inside the box. The lady that I talked to at Ruger is what the French call a bich. She had to of been married to a higher up or sleeping with the boss. I finally had enough of her attitude and told her it wasn't my fault the damn pistol broke.

I sent my Remington 700 in for the trigger fix. They sent me a prepaid box to ship it back in. Also got delivered right back to my front door.

I sent them a pistol a couple months ago. I was told I had to carry it to a staffed FedEx location. They sent it back to my house, no FFL required. They sent me a prepaid label but could be because they were tired of me raising Cain the last 15 years over this particular gun that never worked properly. They got it right this time.Replaced pretty much everything but the polymer handle.

yep bought a ruger american that would only shoot 10" groups. they did something to it, wouldn't say what, but now it shoots 1.5 inch, not good for a .308 but not bad enough to throw away. iam done with ruger for now. I kindof feel like after going back to the factory it should be shooting sub moa and not 6" groups with most ammo.

I had the same experience with Sig. The sent me a shipping label for FedEx, dropped it off and had my pistol sent to my front door exactly one week to the day later.
