Does anybody have a rifle chambered in this, or ever shot one? If so what are your thoughts on it?

I b bought one this summer, but I've only had a chance to shoot it at the range to zero a scope. 20 gr bullet at 3000 FPS ought to be good for little critters.

I'm waiting for the 22 WSM. Don't know if it is being developed or not...but I'm waiting.

Ive killed hogs coyotes & coons with mine. Its a bad little round on critters

Ive messed with one some..it was an early savage bmag..beware the early models..they had chamber pressure issues and busted a buncha bolts...supposed to be fixed now tho..i think they still have an open recall on some of those guns. They are a bad little round tho that will dust coyotes on the cheap. I have my regular savage 93r17 which i bought instead of a bmag. I wanted that wsm but settled for the hmr and i love that gun..ive killed all kinds of hogs and other varmints with it.

I have the B Mag with a heavy barrel it is a tack driver have killed yotes out to 300+ yds. although not my choice for a hog gun I've killed a couple with head shots

I use mine down south for hog. Idk how many I’ve killed now with it but from 20 lbs to 180ish and 10 yards to 120 yards it’s a dead hog

Thought about getting one. I’ve killed a bunch of deer with my .17 HMR.

I have been reading up on them, and some people say they shoot, then others say they are disappointed with the accuracy of them. From the youtube videos i watched, I’m not all that inclined to go out and buy one.

Hopefully somebody will post some groups and change my mind.

The one i shot would put them in the same hole...my 17hmr is laser beam accurate with a 20grn bullet..inside a dime with lighter ones..cci shot best out of mine.

There is no doubt bout the hmr.
