The only color deer can see is blue and you are wearing blue jeans The closest I ever got to a deer was wearing blue jeans he was 6 steps I was on ground 7pt couple weeks ago...dont know how to post but I got video I have an old warm weather liberty hunting suit that I wore blue jeans in. When I sit down I had the bottom of my blue jeans sticking out. Got seen from far off. Had many a deer see me in blue jeans. Then I was doing some research and found that deer can see blue. I hunt a great deal of public land, and the private land I hunt is highly pressured. This probably has a lot to do with it. If you are hunting unpressured deer, I'm sure they pay it no mind, but once they associate a hunter with blue, game over. Check out this link Thou Shalt Not Wear Blue Deer Huntin

Went this afternoon with GomerJr....first hunt since gun season opened. Had a little spike come through and hang out a bit....that's the first deer GomerJr has seen when hunting, so the day was a success. And another member killed a deer this evening so he got to check it out up close.
