Wanting to take myself and my uncle on a quail hunt. Probably would like to go in February. Any recommendations for a preserve in Northeast Alabama area.

Not sure what kinds experience your wanting but Vicks game birds has hunts, it's down rd from me right outside Oneonta, its not wild covies like south ga but I've heard it's still fun. I buy birds from him myself and set out.

There was a place up there at Crow Creek we use to go and had some really nice hunts. Its up there at Stevenson don't know if still in business been a long time since.

If you can afford it then go to Dream Ranch in Guntersville, a less expensive option would be the Northeast Alabama Hunting Preserve in Section AL.

The Alabama Quail Trail has a listing of some of the lodges and pay to hunt quail places around the state.

If you’ll run over here to the shoals Gordon Fennell has a jam up place. He’s a farmer of ours and loves his quail preserve.
