I was live from the kitchen frying up some tenderloin off a deer I killed a couple weeks ago. Just don’t care to hunt in this sloppy warm weather.

I went in at 9 or so. I saw 2 “somethings” at 10:10. They must have seen me before I saw them bouncing off.

I think Ben is saying that the "can't kill em on the couch" mantra isn't always the best advice. Poor conditions are poor conditions, and you can educate deer if wind isn't right, yada yada...so you'd be better off waiting on the couch for better conditions for a better chance to kill a buck.

Seems like Ben is stating that by Jason going hunting even though it was horrible weather and etc. that all he may do is just screw up any chance he had at killing a good deer at a more favorable hunting condition.

That’s my guess.

Just got in the stand a few minutes ago. Hunting a cut bean field that I over seeded with rye, clover and radishes for a cover crop/ food plot.

Waited out the rain this morning sun is really coming out and temp dropping now. I Was going into the hardwoods and decided with this swirling wind I’d just sit on this power line that runs through some thick pines they often bed in.

I think I’m ok since I hunted 5 miles away from where I’m at now 😀
