I'm beginning to think that Game Check represents where most hunters are, not necessarily where most deer are. There's just no way that Jackson has that much deer density.
I'd probably have to choose something in that Montgomery to Selma path.

I agree. That was a huge surprise to me. I doubt you'll have any really high deer numbers there. Like seeing 40 deer a hunt. And there are places in Alabama where that's possible.

In years past, I have hunted all over the state and have found that I do not care for the north Alabama topography, there is nothing like shooting at them under the Spanish moss. Any black belt county with a river running through it gets my vote as well.

Wilcox, clarke, dallas, parts of butler & monroe ,sumter ,marengo all the black belt counties have proven to have the best genetics only thing is now hogs have taken over Nope , Bankhead area has Northern Genetics.
