Stop drinking alcohol and eating cheese.
Take fish oil immediately to start it cleaning and thinning the mucus out, and put a sock full of rice in the microwave (warm dry heat) on it as often as you can.

There’s an old saying down here that you get a stye in your eye if you stop and piss on the side the road. All the old people ask you if you peed off the side the road when you say you have a stye in your eye. I'd be blind by now if that was true. me too - stopped this morning & took a leak, in fact ... hard to hide good now that the leaves are falling off the trees

If something in my diet caused me to have Stye’s I think it would happen more than once every 20 or so years. I had forgotten about this thread after posting it until I saw it just now. Apparently it popped not long after I posted the original post. After I posted the other night my wife said she had some ointment for them. I put some of that in my eye and it irritated the heck out of it. I ended up rubbing my eye a whole lot to get that stuff out and must have cleared it in the process. I’m not complaining
