Anybody here use Sprint? I'm bound and determined to cancel my AT&T phone this month and Sprint has some amazing deal on cell plans and phones that come with them. They used to be good only if you were near the interstate, is that still the case?

I don’t know. I dumped them years ago because of the poor reception anywhere other than around big cities of interstates. I’ve heeard that has changed, but I don’t know anyone with one to ask.

Verizon sucks. I used to have great signal at home and now can't use it most of the time. You definately can't "hear me now" with them anymore. I have noticed a constant drop in service with them over the last year.

I've had AT&T for years and for the last 2 months I've been randomly dropping calls in the middle of conversations and in the middle of town. Cut directv already and now looking to find a new cell provider

I can attest that both Sprint and Verizon have severe limitations as you travel around the country.

Sprint & T-Mobile are merging. This will be great for Sprint users.

Wow my service has increased dramatically on lakes around the state and hunting places where we used to have no signal we can now call text and even get online. Several folks I know have seen this increase.

I've decided they all suck. I had been with Verizon forever and when we got the property in Pike county, the signal was really poor. My nephew has AT&T and we were dove hunting one day and he's sitting there watching videos and I can't even get a simple web site to load on Verizon. I switched over to AT&T and my signal is much better there, but of course now it is worse at my home in FL and I have to turn on wifi calling on the phone when using it there. So I guess it's a matter of pick your poison.

Not only is the reception crap, but mine disconnects from wifi when other carriers dont. Had several friends have this problem and eventually left Verizon. I am about to leave myself.

Check out Visible wireless. Unlimited talk text and data and you can use your data to hotspot. Best deal out there for me. They use Verizon towers. 40.00 bucks a month.

I live in guntersville. I tried sprint 2 years ago. Had to go to Huntsville to get a phone and sign up. I left Huntsville and lost service around New Hope. Had zero service in guntersville, and had to drive to the top of the mountain near albertville just to get enough to call them and let them know I was on my way back.

Google fi uses both t mobile and Sprint networks and us cellular in some places. I've been happy with it, but I am using a Google pixel phone that can take advantage of the automatic network switching. I switched from AT&T a while back and wouldn't go back. Paying less and the service is just as good.

Sprint has the best deals on plan and phone combined. My old iphone 7 is about to kick the can and I'm not paying $800 for a new one

We left AT&T a couple years ago because it was getting so high. I was worried about service but have been very pleased. I can't remember being somewhere and not having service when someone with another carrier did. I also like the fact that you can upgrade phones and lease them.

I ended up swapping to Sprint. Have had it for about 10 days so far and have been very pleased with the network coverage. Even at my hunting lease in Fayette today I had 2 or 3 bars of LTE service. So far I've had less dropped calls while driving than I did with AT&T. Wish I would've swapped sooner. They gave a significant military discount as well. Very please with Sprint so far...

Visible (a Verizon company) on Verizon towers, of course. Use all the data you want. A flat $40 a month with no extra charges.

I used Sprint and it’s unlimited data for several years. 10+ actually. Wouldn’t go back if the service was free. Literally.

They can offer “unlimited” data because—well—you’re limited where you can find their network and they throttle you in high demand areas and during peak times. More so than other service providers. Crappy network with few exceptions.

They once had pretty decent customer service. That too has eroded...

Oh yea...their lease plans suck too.

I've had Sprint now for several months and it's been great. I've been very satisfied with the coverage of their network. Don't rule them out if you're considering swapping
