Looks like we are getting the first real cold blast coming in late tonight. Tuesday looks like tick-killing cold.

Gonna be older than a whore heart that is for sure. Just finished unhooking water hoses and putting outside faucet condoms on.

Single digits where I’ll be hunting later this week in Kingston, MI. They already have 8” of snow and are expecting another 10” to 12” in the next couple of days. Trotted out my goose down vest and polypropylene long johns. Marino wool socks and La Crosse Ice Man boots are already in my gear bag, as well as an insulated pad to sit on and a fleece face mask.

Yep. Time to break out the sleeves. Might need a small jacket for a little while in the morning here.

It's coming. Snow and ice already covers my vehicle here in Clarksville.

I'm genuinely interested if any of y'all can go without a coat in 24 degrees, plus a 20 MPH north wind like it'll be tomorrow.

Good luck to y'all. I've said it before but I'll say it again. We normally get your weather two days before you do. Not always true, but pretty much so. It was a high of around 28 today with a low of I believe 12. Hope y'all get to experience that. Not sure what it'll do to the deer. That might depend more on the barometric pressure than temperature.

I'm going to freeze my ass off at work the next few days. These dang blood thinners I'm on are working on me, hard. Either that or I'm just getting old.

Long as I'm busy that's just long sleeve shirt weather. Now sitting in a tree stand is a different thing. I'd be bundled up, still enjoying it very much, but dressed appropriately.

It’s only goons be in the upper 30s to low 40s down here tomorrow. May get below freezing tomorrow night if it clears up.
