If they get through next week, week after next looks alot better. Theyre looking good right now, just fertilized before the rain this week.

Food plots will be fine planted this late. Most wheat planted by farmers is planted in November.

That was sorta my worry.

It will turn back warm. It always turns back warm in Alabama.

About to get real cold

Yep, may not germinate due to low soil temp and if it does the cold may kill the sprouts. Good luck to all.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I plant a fair amount of Brasicas every year. A couple freezes won’t hurt them at all. It’ll actually help some.

A frost helps a lot. Really sweetens the greens up, you are right. Deep, sub 20 degree freezes are not normal frosts and will flat kill brassicas. They keep dropping the low temperature for Tues morning forecast which suggests to me were going to see lows in the sub 20s easy. Right now the official forecast says 21, this is for central Alabama. North Alabama going to be flirting with 15 in some spots I bet. I really, really hope I am wrong, believe me. I've got stuff riding on it, too
