I watched several deer panic in a pasture and head toward a fence. Some jumped it and some just slammed into it. I watched one run into the fence and die. It likely broke it's neck.

Is this some new fencing they just put up? Posts look pretty new to me. I could see a bunch of spooked deer freaking out and running into what they thought was their escape route. Still hard to believe 3 deer would die from running into a fence. Do you live near Timber? That’s the weird part, the fence has been there for well over a year and these three does are always down around that part of his driveway eating acorns, both outside and inside the fence
