Have an Echo that I bought 9 years ago and hasn’t missed a beat. Seems like it around $300 then and had a few years of warranty

Can’t go wrong with Stihl. May have to get a slightly used one in your price range but you won’t regret it.

Stihl BR600. It is going to cost more than 300. I think it is about $450.

Husqvarna. Wife bought me a commercial one to blow about 1.5 acres and has worked well for nearly 7 yrs no problems.

We have a Stihl BR 600 Magnum and it has served us well. I have to set it up on something about waist high to get it on after I have started it, but it starts real easily for me even though it has a pull start. I would not hesitate to get another one if I needed it.

Don’t buy an extended warranty from Lowe’s.

I bought a used stihl about five years ago. Never had to do any maintenance, just put non-ethanol gas in it with the stihl mix added. Echo and husky are good brands too. My weedeater is a husky because it used all the attachments (ryobi commercial grade) that I'd bought over the years. Runs like a top.

I've seen some folks going battery powered...no experience there.

I’ve got a shindaiwa that I would put up against any other blower out there... I’ve had stihl’s and they don’t even begin to touch the power and reliability of this shindaiwa... (and I’m sure I misspelled that)

Important PSA right there!! Never use ethanol gas in anything smaller than your car!
