How you feel about Bob Stoops. I heard they are close to a deal with Stoops and FSU. You heard that too?

Rumors have been swirling for this position. Leach, Kiffen, Stoops all have been mentioned

I thought Stoops is on stand by for Auburn and just waiting for Burbank’s call.

I don't see Bob Stoops going there...Maybe his brother from Kentucky. IMO, if Big Game Bob wanted to return to College, he could make a good push for the USC gig over a "dirty, hard to touch" Urban.

I could definitely see Leach or Kiffen being candidates.

I don't know. Every body wants to be the first to release the "scoop" or "Stoops", ha ha, on who's going where. From what I understand the whole FSU athletic dept needs an overhaul starting with the AD. They didn't hire a real AD. So, we'll see. The FSU ship has a LOT that needs to be corrected.

I've heard Mike Norvell's name mentioned too (Memphis)

Agree Booger smile. This why a key note HC is critical for FSU, and the power to run the program

We need for someone to walk in to the HC job the same way Saban did. When Saban walked into the athletic dept. at Bama he served notice to everyone involved from the guy emptying trash cans to the dude that signed his check. He completely changed the status quo in that department.

That would be ideal. There aren't many of those available for hire.

Taggart tried that and was fired . He wasn't given enough time to change the culture. When Taggart was hired at Oregon his Military Style Training left 3 guys in the hospital. Can't do much more than a Boot Camp Spring Training.

It's hard to believe they'd fire Taggart mid season without already having a gentlemens agreement in place with a top notch coach. For all Florida state has been over the last few years, the right coach can turn em around pretty quickly.
