I've heard they are moving Gameday from the Walk of Champions due to Security Reasons..... does anyone know where they're moving it? My son really wants to check it out and I know there's not enough room where they usually do the SEC Now deal. The Quad. Thank you sir!! I figured it would be there or Gorgas

I've been involved in presidential visits on a scale similar to how many can get into Bryant-Denny. 100,000 or so was the count from the metal detectors as I recall. There will be metal detectors that EVERYONE will have to go through. Then there will be a lot of things you won't see, like the platoon of dogs sweeping every inch of the stadium that morning, dogs being put into manholes to sweep the sewers, the strategically placed banners that say something nice, but really serve to block the line of sight from a sniping position, the fighter jets flying above just out of sight and hearing, but have the capability to be where they need to be in a matter of seconds. Then if you know where to look and are observant you will see the top part of kevlar helmets peering over from behind walls. There will be snipers everywhere. This will be a major headache for the Secret Service and certainly more of an issue for the fans than a regular game.
And yes, it really happens, there will be someone with Trump carrying a briefcase and it is no secret that that briefcase carries the nuclear launch codes. The Secret Service calls this "The Football". they like football terms. When I was with them they called the pres. "Quarterback", First Lady, "Halfback" and there were other football positions assigned to other VIPs. I wonder if they change that at a real football game?
There will also be someone else with a briefcase that is a trauma surgeon and their briefcase carries the equipment needed to do surgery on the spot if needed. This started after Reagan was shot and came perilously close to dying before reaching the hospital.
Bottomline is that there is a lot more than goes into this than meets the eye.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Tuscaloosa is a Democrat stronghold. I bet there will be some sour pusses because he is going there. Saban being one of them.

Do you think Trump really cares about Alabama/LSU football? What better way to campaign in his biggest region of supporters. Trump's a Bama fan.... said so himself. He loves winners

Y'all enjoy the extra time in the lines, security checks and other BS.
Trump doesn't give two chits about Alabama or LSU. He's catering to voters.

Trump could win the state of Alabama without ever stepping a foot into the state of Alabama. I think he's just a rich guy that wants to go to the big game.

Bottomline is that there is a lot more than goes into this than meets the eye. While there will absolutely be additional security I am unsure how much of it will actually be noticed by fans as you mention. Fans already have to go through metal detectors for every game. And police already randomly stop people after they go through the metal detectors and pat them down.
