Bamajoz brought up the idea of doing a knife for Ammon McKinney as a tribute to his tracking dog Woodrow. We all enjoyed following his tracking adventures and this is a small gift to show that to Ammon. The handle material is Forest Floor Plantstone and deer hide Peltstone by Robert Belcher of Mental Co in Florida. The knife has orange G10 spacers & liners. A big thanks to Mark(Bamajoz) for bringing the idea to me.

That’s awesome. Not to be insensitive, but is Ammon still tracking with a different dog, or have a new dog in training?

I don’t know if he is or not.

I looked for a buck I shot for hours, never had used a dog until that day.

Ammons came up and Woodrow found him 15 yards from last spot I was at
, buried up in a blown over tree. Without that dog, I never find that deer. Was amazing to watch him work and he found him in within 10 minutes.

Great tribute knife you have there.
