Found an intruiging deal on a Case 1845B. I dont know what year it is. Its got 6,000 hours on it. It has the old Case 188D motor in it. I think the guy is trying to pull a fast one or hes misinformed because hes calling it a 1845C which would have a Cummins motor in it. Any experience with these old Case machines? comes with a 6 foot bucket and a set of forks is it worth 8 grand?

6,000 hrs sounds high, check the undercarriage and hydraulics. Motor would be least of my worries.

yeah I'd say 6000 is high. and you can drop a lot of money fixing things worn out, before getting to the motor.

Used equipment that has any life left in it is high right now. If anything is in question, I would move on to another machine.

It be's that way sometimes.
