Anybody got any advice on a waterproof backpack like a waterfowl pack kind of? I am a medically retired Marine and I can’t afford a Badlands or Ebberstock. Any advice is appreciated.

I bought a Frogg Toggs coat specifically to put over my backpack when I’m in a tree stand. I always hang my backpack from a hook on the tree, and have a Huntbrella over me when it’s raining, but the backpack always got wet. The new Frogg Toggs coat fixed that. I think it was around $20 at Wal-Mart.

Buy a rain cover for the pack or stay on the cheap and throw it in a garbage bag. My packs all leak. I keep the gear I want dry in dry bags of assorted sizes. Theyre not expensive

I think I found a Badlands Pursuit on sale that I can afford that is waterproof.

You can buy Ziplock bags in 2.5 gallon size. They will keep important stuff dry inside your backpack.

Hey I think you can find a wet weather bag at sportsman guide pretty cheap...I still use mine occasionally...

I just put a dry bag in my backpack. they are super cheap and easy to come.by.

I have an Ebrelstock Tailhook, and it isn’t waterproof, fwiw

I think I’m going to spray mine with some Atsko Silicone Waterproof spray until I get me a new one.
