Making it dang hard to wait. Anybody use these?

We're running around 12 right now, along with the stand alone modems. These seem to bet a better signal than the modems. At that price, it's almost a no brainer.

How does the Data plan work on these things?

Saw some rough reviews on some other forums. Good to hear that you’re getting good performance. I’m tempted.

There's plans ranging for $5 to $50 a month. I'm running several different plans. You really have to determine what you want to see. On a feeder you can run through a lot of pic. On a scrape to trail I'll set it on 3 burst. The good thing is you can adjust them from the app or computer. So if you're getting a lot of trash pics you can adjust the interval.I havent ran out of data but on 1-2 cameras, but I wasn't paying attention to them. The plans renew on the 20th of every month.

I have had some issues with battery life. But I'm beginning to believe that it's that actual Lithium batteries themselves. I have bought bulk batteries and at time I couldn't even get them to power on. I think you run into a bad battery even in a new pack and when the lithium dies it goes to 0.

I've read some too and honestly I don't understand. I do think I am reasonable in my excitations though. If I don't have cell service on my phone I cannot expect a lot. I do run Lithium's which are very expensive but with every penny. I've tried the regular batteries and they will not hold up. I also have several of the 12V external batteries and haven't changed them in months. The batteries in these cell units do use more than a regular camera.

I've also heard bad things about customer service and have never had an issue. I call the same number that everyone else call and have never had an issue getting through. Now to be straight up honest I do have access to some people that I can call if I'm in a tight to work a problem out. But I usually do not do that. I want to give feedback--good or bad-- to our partners. But over the years I have learned some tricks to handle about 95% of my problems. New batteries, firmware updates (which does helps with battery life??????) and ALWAYS format your cards IN the camera every time you turn it on.

I guess I thought about it too long. $109 now after the rebate. Still seems like a good deal.

Maybe this will help those wondering. Be advised, this wasn't on a feeder snapping pic after pic. It was set to take pics every 15minutes morning and night, about 6hrs a day most of the time.

I just changed plans, was $20 month. For those wanting pics in texts, don't buy. Either open up the web page on ya computer OR the app on your phone. The pic are not real clear. If ya want a specific pic clear, you request a "Hi-Res" pic, and on the cameras next modem communication, you'll get it. No charge, ya just got to wait. I'm set up for the modem to link twice a day. It's your decision on that. I'll post a pic of control place next.

My neighbor doesn't have this cam but, he has the Wal-Mart Spypoints and the expensive one everyone likes. He is more pleased with the Wal mart spypoints. They text to phone and have clear pics from the get-go. The plans also cheaper. Draw back is they cost more than the Moultrie. I'll probably add another Moultrie next year.
