Sometimes land like that is only good for trapping yotes. I don't know if you've ever trapped yotes before but it's best to set up at the intersections of trails.

You need to make friends with a couple of hardcore boys from Beat 10 in Walker County.

Check to see if you can get a sheriff deputy free hunting for a year out there. Either that or convince them you just got out of jail for murder. Get a dummy in a body bag and bury it but let them see it. If they think you are crazier than them, they might stay away. Hang doll heads from trees. Make a hexagon and put a dead animal in it, like you killed it

Keep callin the cops and keep gettin pics to the cops. Criminals will quit once they find out that your the type just itchin to call the law. They get busted twice then that 3rd time will make them go bother other people. Those people will not wanna hang around places that call the law on them over and over. Ummm NO. The main guy, who is 30 ish, is a schizophrenic and druggy. His mom bought the house to get him and her ex out her nice house a mile away. The dad and the other couple just moved in this year which is when all of this chit started.
They have no cars
It’s my grandmothers old house, some alternatives aren’t an option. Can you afford to buy the house from the lady that bought it for more than she paid? Sometimes money will talk. You would get your grandmother's house back and get rid of part of your problem.

Hunterturf, I am sorry for your situation. I sure can relate! My stories of dealing with scumbag poachers and trespassers have become somewhat famous. The assholes in the Bessemer area must be the worst! First thing, keep your wife and kids out of the situation. Then make friends with all the LEO you can. Most LEO went into that profession because they hate scumbags and like to kick ass. Then find a few of your badass friends who ain’t scared of shucks and have them hang out regularly if possible. But MOST important, buy an AR15 pistol and carry that thing everywhere you go. I hope you never have to use it, but that by itself is a major deterrent just by its looks. A free man doesn’t owe anyone anything. Do not bribe them or try to be there friends. THey hate you and you cannot change that. Stand your ground! You have the right to protect what is yours!
Hunting brings out the worst in people.

Of course, less than desirable neighbors are common in my part of the country. Years ago my uncles leased some property in Wilcox county and converted an old store into a camp house, then several guys put campers down there. They ran dogs on weekends so there were dogs on and off in some pens. One of the first things they did was seek out the local matriarch and hired her to feed the dogs and look after the stuff. They never had any problems at all. Besides the little bit of cash they forked out they gave Madea a deer every now and then.
If you can ID the local matriarch, she can help you. If nothing else “non workers” respect their mothers and grandmothers in most cases.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I think I would go over with at least 2 of my closest buddies and try and talk with whomever is paying the rent over there. Keep it cordial but I'd make sure all of us had a sidearm to convey a message that you are not alone and mean business.
