Creek crossings are the first places I look when I hunt new places. I hunt the trails but I bow hunt all season. You could set up on edge of bank and enjoy the excitement. I'm sure you'll see deer.

I ran across an area this past weekend that shows promise, although it’s dang thick. However, there is a ankle deep creek that it about 15 yards wide and straight for about 150 yards which could come in handy come rifle season. I have not heard many mention hunting something like this so I wanted to ask if anyone has experience trying it? Kind of like a gas line opening through a bedding area. You didn't mention that you found where the deer cross. If it truly is a deer crossing, then you should be good.
