I found a 1946 wheat penny that's in very good condition, after a few Google searches it seems that I might have something valuable but who knows..the prices vary alot, this penny doesn't have a mint mark..any insight would be appreciated

Average is .15 cents to $4.00 error coins can go extremely high but the error coin collector is usually very finicky about what constitutes a valuable error coin. I’m no expert but collected for years until I sold out about five years ago due to the fact none of the kids were interested and would have had no idea what any of the collection would have been worth. No mint mark would have been minted in Philadelphia sometimes marked with a p and sometimes no mark at all.

I love money collecting. Coins, dollars, stocks, bonds. It's like titties, I like em all.

if in good condition it is worth about $.20 that is twenty cents. I have probably 500 wheat pennies and some are worth a few cents and some are worth more. That one is not rare. I collect coins and if anyone has any old ones for sale I may be a buyer. I especially like to collect silver dollars.

As a kid I remember getting Indian head pennies. buffalo nickels , liberty standing quarters and steel pennies back in change sometimes. The date was worn off most all of them except for the steel pennies. I still check my change. When I was collecting, I would buy 20 or 30 dollars worth of change on Friday and spend the weekend looking at it, take out any thing I needed, then roll it up and take it back to the bank on Monday. I did this for about one year and filled up a doz. or so books. Not completely full, some you will never find unless you buy.

About 3 months ago, I got a silver dime on a Sunday and silver quarter the next Sunday from the same Hardee’s location. Somebody must have raided a coin collection somewhere and liked eating at that particular Hardee’s.

As far as collector value, I wouldn’t know where to start. The buyers want a steal, and unless you pay to get it graded, it’s tough to know what the real value is.

Some coins can be worth a lot. I was recently handed a few quarters from a register that was obviously silver when it landed in my hand. Silver has a different ring to it. Her and I dug through her drawer and she had just dumped $10 of silver quarters in the register. She handed a few out before I got there but I gave her $8.50 for the rest of the quarters. Felt like I had just won the lottery even though they ain't worth too much.

I had a lady pay $20 bill with a bunch of old $2 bills once with red stamp and another off color stamp I googled a couple that was bringing $15-$20 a piece...i still got em in a notebook somewhere...its rare to get silver in change tho it's been a few years since I got any...i prob got $15 worth of old coins face value, I'd buy something every now n then when I saw it

Don’t really collect them but if I get something old I’ll hang onto it.

A Washington Quarter from 1932 to 1964 melt value is currently around $3.00 so $8.50 face value is worth about $102.00 not a bad rate of exchange.

I’ve got a 1909 wheat penny that I’ve had for years. Probably not worth much of anything but I hang on to it because it fascinates me that it’s 110 years old. Every time I see it I can’t help but wonder about all the places it has been.

No Joke-- Have you ever been to a strip club in Canada? Their dollars are loonies, and they can pick them up with a magnet. That was back in evil Howard days, but it was quite the show.

I was at at a bagel shop in Mtn Brook several years ago and the lady gave me 3 silver quarters in my change. I bought 10 more bagels, one at a time and ended up with 17 sliver quarters. I guess some kid stole his parents coin collection to buy some bagels.

not sure what the best way to handle them is but they shouldnt be on tv and gettn married and raisin kids

I have one as well. Wish it was an SVDB. Got dozens of old coins put away somewhere.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.
