Never heard of em. But for less than $300 some good name brand saws can be bought.

Well I just ordered one so ill let yall know how it goes. I make a living with a chainsaw and all ive ever owned is stihl saws, aside from my husqvarna polesaw. Ive been wondering about these aftermarket stihls for a couple years now. It finally got the best of me. Keep us in the loop how it does. Hopefully it’ll pan out well for ya

How many CCs is this saw? I’ve considered getting one to do some ripping. Looking fwd to your assessment, i run Stihl and Echo. The reviews are really good on the saw.

Just curious, do you make mods to your saws? Carb and muffler? No. I think that would be more of a competition type deal. I just make a living with a saw so im always trying to keep expenses down. Theres alot of things it just aint worth it to skimp on but ive found the aftermarket saw parts to be dependable. I had to replace 7 stihl saws when I got robbed a year ago, that hurt. Im a little thrifty. Im always looking for a cheaper way.

after my warranty runs out i might open up the exhaust a little. You can tweak the throttle up on them to tune them but i dont cause i think its too much for the saw. You can set them by ear and get more power out of them but they just arent designed to rev higher than the factory setting i believe. And the exhaust really aint worth fooling with in my opinion. Just buy a bigger saw if its that important ya know. Its not like its a small block v8. Even on a small block engine your only gonna get a few extra horse. So imagine a little 60cc saw. Probably not even any gain. Just the loud noise might fool you. On engines you can mess around with porting heads or exhaust and create a swirl of turbulence that actually decreases power if you dont do it correctly. By hand you can really decrease air flow by accident by using a dremel on heads or intake. Just like throwin a big cam in a factory engine. Creating lazy air flow. You lose instead of gain. Might sound good but in reality you lost power.
