they are selling vape mods at the gas station for 99cents down from near $20 and they just started so im assuming they are trying to cover their losses and unload their supply before anything happens

I wonder what kind of lung diseases they will discover vaping has caused 20 or 30 years from now just like when asbestos first came out it was the greatest fireproof building material ever and they put it in everything

I wonder what percentage of people who get lung cancer from smoking cigarettes get it in the first 10yrs of smoking. Id venture to say not a high percentage. We have no idea what the long term effects of vaping is because it hasnt existed long enough. Even the people who make the stuff will admit that.

I don’t vape but all the major brands of e cigs have had major investment from the tobacco company’s. While it is correct that Philip Morris didn’t buy Juul out right they are 35% stakeholders through their investment group Atria. Blu is owned buy lorrilard and vuse by RJ Reynolds. (They’ve made billions already). It is correct that the off brand THC crap is what’s killing folks. The tobacco companies are raking it in and in my opinion they aren’t going anywhere. Lawyers will get rich and they’ll cost more just like the tobacco settlement of the 90s. As soon as pot gets legalized the tobacco companies will buy those too and the process repeats itself.

Man i never said they weren't dangerous, and i don't like 'em at all, but the politicians are stepping in to rid us of the dangers of vaping because of a few hundred deaths? Dang y'all missing out on the big picture here, politicians don't have our (or our children) best interests in mind here damn. I'm out of this thread 👍

26 deaths

Did you know 86 percent of the people who are sick or died admitted to using black market thc cartomisers. I'm sure there's others who didn't admit to it. But why you reckon no one has been sick in the last 10 years or why no other country has this problem? But thc cartos hit the market within the last year and now there's a problem, coincidence?

I would love ot see this research on the 86%. Do you have a link?

I'll throw this out there. Let's say 100 millions people in the United States went from using tobacco to vaping. That is a low estimate. And the tobacco users consumed a pack/can a day, again low side estimate. And a roller of that pack/can a day went to the government due to a settlement with big tobacco. That's a hundred million per day that the government no longer gets. What do you think would happen then?

Marijuana is going to be the new political cash cow, not big tobacco. These vapors are cutting into the national push to legalize hippie lettuce. I guarantee the Mexican drug cartels are funneling huge sums of money to US political campaigns. That is the REAL money trail the politicians are catering to right now.

You’re telling me 30% of the United States swapped from smoking cigs to vaping? Not even 20% of the US smokes....

I have heard a lot of people say that, but have yet to see any credible evidence.

My dad smoked a long time. Started vaping 3 yrs ago. He tells me he can tell a big difference in how he feels in the mornings. He doesn't blow those big clouds like I've seen others do. He says his breathing is great and his blood pressure is almost normal. So it sounds like a better alternative to cigs to me.

All this talk about vaping, cigars, and pipes got me thinking of starting a new tradition on lighting one up with a kill. Stop the temptations
