https://www.waff.com/2019/10/09/fbi-confirms-federal-law-enforcement-operation-north-al/Ala. (WAFF) - A spokesperson for the FBI confirms that his agency and the DEA are conducting an operation in North Alabama. The spokesperson said the operation was spread out over multiple locations but couldn’t confirm which counties or cities agents were working in. He said more information would be provided later. Colbert County Sheriff Frank Williamson did confirm that his agency has assisted with 2 arrests there, he said federal agents had also arrested two more people in Colbert County on their own. The Chief Deputy for the Lawrence County Sheriff confirmed 5 arrests there as well. Huntsville Police also confirmed involvement in the operation.

Most of these operations today deal with groups or individuals dealing whatever they can. They normally have a primary narcotic they deal but will put their hands on anything to make money. These operations are going on all over all of the time. It is literally non stop. It’s like whack-a-mole. Pop one and another pops up!
Don't blame me for your bad decision-

I'd like to offer congratulations to drugs, for winning the war on drugs.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

I've known they were about to make this sweep for a week or two. Was told by one of the federal judges to be expecting it. It was a normal round up. These things happen all the time. There are a few more that they are looking for that they were not able to find.
This was meth from what I understand. That is mainly what they are dealing with these days. Coke and Herion cases are not their focus anymore. Not saying they don't make those cases, it is just that a lot of the big players have shifted to meth because of the money in it. And a federal judge gave a defense lawyer a heads up about raids that were coming?

Yea this whole conversation probably needs to be deleted from the interwebs….. as soon as I saw that on here I was like "welp there goes the whole operation"

Especially in a fed case. Prosecutors, pardon and parole assessment, magistrates and we’ll trusted Defense attorneys. They need to know they are about to get busy

I'd like to offer congratulations to drugs, for winning the war on drugs. In a landslide... In the late eighties the Army was building roads in Central and South America to be able to move military equipment more swiftly and precisely to stop the drug runners. The whole time I’m thinking yes as soon as we leave the drug cartels will appreciate these fine roads we built.
Proud Army and ALNG veteran God Bless America!

Not sure that federal judges should be telling anyone this information. being told a big round up is about to happen doesn’t reveal anything and isn’t inappropriate. No names were mentioned or even where it when. This is not uncommon. It is basically a heads up that you can be expecting some calls the end of next week and you might to be available end of the week.
