Bamarich2 8 point B Joined: Oct 2012 Posts: 1,508 Northport	MBrock is correct... they're what we call "mountain oaks" and they are the least preferred of all the acorns that fall. Turkeys will eat them into the spring, but deer typically won't touch them unless it's a lean year.
