Go under any of the bridges on the causeways. Use minnows. I'd start at the bridge on the 69 causeway then try Town Creek, South Sauty and Short creek bridges in that order.

Sorry we are staying in the state park near towns creek. only our second time to stay here. We don’t know much about the area

If its a chalet at the park.. town an short creek are good spots for sure..early in the mornin an late in the evwnin you ortah be able to slang a rattle trap at either place an at least catch some stripe...might even jig up some crappie...good luck whatever you do

The stretch of shoreline between the cabins and the park should be good in the mornings. Some wood in there you may want to throw some plastic around.
