There was a jacked up truck show at The Warf this summer. There were hundreds of trucks roaring up and down the road with more money spent on lights, tires and paint jobs than what the truck cost.

the only reason a truck should look like that is being way over loaded or pulling a trailer to heavy.

Faggot rich wannabee rednecks raise the front of their trucks and simultaneously lower the back resulting in a large rake. Also they try fit the biggest tires possible. Usually found in NC/SC and across the south.

It renders the truck completely useless for carrying any weight as well as dangerous because of reduced visibility over the hood and the headlights pointing at the sky. It is arguable that it also reduces the braking ability of the front brakes (the front brakes do most of the brake work on a vehicle) do to a shift in weight toward the rear.

I'll use this time to ask a question to the experts. I have been checking out a lot of jacked-up trucks from an area roughly from west point to anniston over to Newnan and carrollton for the last few years. There are more than you would think that are two wheel drive ( or at least the front shaft isn't on). I will say I see it more often on the GA side but it is about the dumbest thing ever.

So, other than being a complete douche, why would someone jack-up a 2 wheel drive truck?

Was stationed with a guy in Stuttgart Germany that drove a lifted 2wd quad cab Nissan Titan...HUGE salt life sticker, muscle T all year round, gallon of water always in his hand...constant lifting and staring at mirrors...He was a complete TOOL.

This is accurate. The owner of that particular truck likely is from or has relatives in Lexington, SC or a nearby town, also likely wear his hats with a flat bill, has a multitude of Affliction T-shirts, tribal or script tattoo of some sort, and overuses the words “bro” and “dawg” in every day conversation. There are a multitude of kids/adults driving trucks like this around here. Not sure what the appeal is, but I guess some folks don’t recognize that they are total douche nozzles either.
