this is the concoction we used for late-summer baseball/early season football....I remember putting a wet towel over my head and the ammonia "revitalizing" me while taking a slow, deep breath.

When I used to paint houses the old timers would run cool water from a hose over their wrists and hands for a few minutes. Tried it and it really worked great. He said there is a lot of blood flow close to your skin at your wrists and the water would cool the blood.

any pulse point on the body works...obviously, the closer to the heart, the quicker it works.

We used this too growing up during baseball and football. Definitely good stuff

I've been doing this for about ten years now except without the additives ….. just ice and a med sized bath towel.
