yall think this would be something I could get a muffler shop to weld up or would I be better off taking it to and actual fabricator I dont know much about the strengths of different types of welds it is the tail wheel for a bushhog, center plate busted of the axle/spindle whatever you call it.

Id take to a welder. Of if you are near Huntsville bring it by my shop and I will weld it for you.

I work in montgomery and live 25 miles north east of montgomery I had doubts about letting a muffler shop do it i figured whatever they use probably isnt the strongest welding material. there is a good fabricator close to my house its just difficult to get it there because im in montgomery during their hours and didn't want to take off work if a muffler place could do it just as good on my lunch break.

Most muffler shops have smaller welders for thin wall pipe/tube

You are supposed to put grease in that little fitting thing on the axel.

It is hard to see what is going on in that pic, but it diesn’t look like a weld is going to solve your problems, but I could be wrong.

Definitely a weld shop or an individual with a welding machine with an output of at least 130 amps.
Muffler shop most likely has a small MIG machine for thin material.

it gets greased every couple months the bearings are not locked up it just got hung up or backed into something that knocked it sideways not really sure. i found a guy to fix it for $20 thanks for everybodies input

Needs a good 250 amp welder ahold of it, and some reinforcement.

thats what ive been doing figure it cant get no more broke than it already is only problem is going over hills the blades eat rocks and dirt as long as its level ground its fine

Someone that can burn a 7018 rod can fix it quick. A muffler shop will give you a weld similar to the one that broke.
