We had one of the Fred T. Stimpson hunts set to display results at 2:15 am and should have been 2:15 pm. This is the reason you got an email indicating you were not selected. Disregard that email. The draw time for that particular hunt was entered correctly and will occur at 2pm. I have corrected the display results for that hunt to be 2:15 pm, so if you are selected you will get an email indicating such. I looked at all 43 hunts and this one hunt was the only one with this display results error.

Receiving the email overnight will not have any impact on the actual draw/selection. I apologize for any confusion this error may have caused. If you have any questions feel free to contact me via email or calling the number below.

Yeah right. Notice that all the emails sent out were "not selected". Why wasn't there any "Hunter" or "alternate" emails sent out?

Doesn't take rocket science to figure out that if and email was sent before any drawing was done, then there wouldn't be any hunters or alternates to send an email to saying they have been picked. Like picking a winner before the clock hits 0:00.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to write a sentence either

I’m not a rocket scientist, just a dumb redneck——- but I still figured it’s our. I ain’t nary good with that there English neither

I don't believe the fix is in.

On a separate note, I'm excited about getting drawn for a turkey hunt again this year. grin

Selected as an alternate for Portland Landing gun deer hunt for Jan. 23 which means I most likely will not get the chance to hunt there. I accepted the alternate status and I will just have to wait and see.

I got chosen for Cedar Creek on 1/2/20. What's the terrain like down there? Places to stay or camp?

The first time I got to go on one I was drawn as an alternate and someone backed out. Don't give up hope!

That would be great to get to go on a hunt there in Late Jan. Does should be in Full heat in that area Late Jan. I would think.

Got selected for an archery hunt at upper state feb. 6. I am guessing that’s when their rut is supposed to be?

What is the purpose of getting a preference point? How will it help you get drawn? And how come some people have only one and others have two?

Depends on the section you get. Some are extremely steep. Other are easy walking.

When you login the preference points are posted by the hunts you registered for. I have 1 preference point for all of the hunts I registered for except I show 2 points for Upper State hunts.

I didn’t draw the first time this morning. Shock. I didn’t draw again this afternoon.

I’d say I been “Chucky-ed.”

Cant help with first two questions but believe you get 2 by not being picked twice. So i should have 3 next time
