We've had 9 close down in a 40 mile range around Anniston/Oxford/Jacksonville/Heflin area. The left the worst one open.

Only time I eat at Hardees is Hampton Cove at 4am during turkey season.

If they would just pay all them people that work there $15 an hour everything would be better...

Biscuits are the best you can gets a fast food joint, sometimes. Very inconsistent. Last burger I ate was years ago and it tasted like, and was tough as horse meat. Service can be terrible. Stopped at the one in Cullman recently and it took the prison release crew 15 minutes to put a steak biscuit on the counter. Was a little busy but everyone had to wait this long. Pathetic.

They used to have the market cornered on high quality fast food burgers, but not anymore. I know mcdonalds' business has been up since they've switched to fresh beef and all day breakfast, and I imagine places like Hardee's are getting hit the worst. They've also seemed to franchise out locations to places or people that just don't need to be running a fast food joint. It's rare to find a Hardee's not filled with employees that look like they hate their job.

I miss the old smashed looking thin charbroiled cheese burgers. Their chicken was awesome though. Several times I’ve seen them run out of biscuits early in the morning. We have 2 in Prattville and one of them was remodeled not long ago.

I do really like their burgers ( especially the mushroom Swiss) but I don’t seek them out. Only one I got to now is the one in Calera, and it’s slowest service I’ve ever had at a fast food joint.

They went from fast food to made to order at lunch. None head move In my opinion
Kind of like DQ getting rid of the blitz burger combo.

It is odd they are closing down there and they are building 3 new ones by me with in 45 minutes of me. I am up here in IN. I got here for breakfast only usually. They have these blueberry biscuits they only come our every few years and they are to die for with extra icing on them.

The ones in Tuscaloosa are pretty good

They closed the one in Hueytown / Dolomite area like 13 or more years ago, only to open it back up in the same building last year.

So im not the only one that noticed hardees.

The ones in Huntsville and Madison are usually dead.

They are filthy and take forever to prepare your overpriced burger. Their fries suck.

The employees look filthy, greasy and sun defecient. They act like they just started working there 10 minutes ago.

They are always "out" of condiments. When they sold tacos they were always out of hard shells or picante sauce. And dont ever pull away before counting your food items!

I hate hardees as much as burger king.

Macdonalds is gotten outrageous on a #1 combo!

The one in Greenville is the best in the state. Bunch of older black women work there and they know how to cook.

Employees are likely in a prison work release program.

Yall should see the hardee's in Scottsboro on a Sat morning. Bet you've never seen another hardee's like it. The only fast food place I've ever seen like it is chic fil a. Sometimes the traffic is backed up into 72 and you cant get in the parking lot.

Everything has to do with the operator. Hardee's has never achieved greatness on a large scale but there are some stores that are decently operated. Some are dirty dumps. Krystal is the same.

Bunch of folks I am sure have had the franchise a long time. Everything is paid for. Looks bad but I would guess they still make money with low effort.

That's kind of the way that works sometimes.

Many restaurants use people in work release programs. You would be surprised.

our hardee's is only busy for breakfast....dead during lunch and dinner. it is where the retirees meet up for morning coffee and solving of the world's problems, so I don't see it closing. pretty sure the one in west point closed towards the end of the year, though.

This is how Scottsboro's is. Insanely busy for breakfast but dead for lunch and dinner.
