You got to get it down, get it finished, water it down and keep it watered down or water then cover with poly and water that down.

In addition to curing above, two words - SAW JOINTS! Preferably before the sun goes down. I will add another piece of advice. If you are hiring it done don’t pay them until the joints are cut.

Our guys have been pouring all week but they start at 3am when it isn't as hot and saw cut within 12ish hrs of setting. I'm glad I'm in the office  This is how you do it in hot weather. Sun beating down on flat slab in high heat will cause the surface of the concrete to flash cure but under the surface does not cure at same rate. Surface can crack and flake off in these cases. Not good.
