Or something else? Vanguard engine with a sea dog type kill switch. It has the 4 prongs (I believe it says I and V) on them. It has stopped working. The two wires running from the kill switch are pretty dadgum corroded looking but everything is connected like it should be. Also, the several wires running from the ignition are corroded to. I am replacing the wires and connectors. Should this fix my issue? Kill switch is pretty new and doesn’t look like anything is wrong. It still plunges in and out fine.

You need to hook a volt meter to it to see where you lose power. Or unhook kill switch...by passing it then see if it gets spark. Youtube it if u need instructions. U wont know til u hook a multimeter to it. Unless u like throwin parts at it.

If you are replacing the corroded connectors and wires, you should be good to go.

Thomas Jefferson. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Life is too short to only hunt and fish on weekends!

If being a dumbass was fatal some of you would be on your death bed!

I’m going to go ahead and replace the wires and connections. Will report back once I do. On a side note, which of the prong do my two connections go into??? whistle
