Nix has completed less than 50% of his passes in two games. Have y'all ever noticed that Nix has yet to do an actual RPO play? Does Gus not run this option like the majority of offense's in the country do? I have noticed that the RPO is absent. Maybe Gustard is saving that for a big surprize on somebody.

9+? Just dont see it. Cupcake this week to be off and running with a 3-0 start, then the SEC schedule starts. Assuming Gus doesnt Gus it up and lose to someone he's not supposed to, AU still has MSU, TA&M, FL, LSU, GA, and Bama. It's gonna be tough to get 9 wins much less 9+. I've been wrong before and I'll openly acknowledge that AU is the luckiest football program to ever put on a helmet and step on the field, but with this years schedule and what they've shown on the field so far, I dont see it. I agree that looking at their schedule MSU, TA&M, FL will be tough games but I think AU's defense will shut them down and just need a little from the offense....AU will be underdogs against LSU, GA and Bama but have GA/Bama at Jordan Hare......this just seems like one of those seasons AU thrives with a good but not great team.....

AU better really shut them down, as in not let them score at all, because scoring only 27 on Oregon (no defense) and only 24 on Tulane (not even a P5 team), AU offense may only be able manage a field goal on a good or even decent, SEC defense. Like Fur said, for AU to just have a "good" team, they are going to have to improve greatly on both sides of the ball.

Receivers have bailed out Nix. Not saying the kid isn’t good/goin to be good but everyone ranting and raving about how great he’s been. I just don’t see it. I’m no expert, Hell im just an idiot with an opinion. Surely gatewood can throw just as good

Has anyone considered that the reason Gatewood isn’t starting May not be a football issue but might be a medical issue?

I’m a die hard auburn fan, but this offense is hard to watch.. it is no different than last year. Fire this clown and let Steele takeover and hire a reputable offensive coordinator. Just my opinion You realize Steele has been a head coach before , right? I'm all for Gus getting the boot but I hope AU aims a little higher than a career 9-36 coach. Ol 5-19 Chizik won yalls only Natty in our lifetime. But everyone overthought it and decided Malzahn was the reason for the success. Again Chiz was likely the best coach in Auburn history and they dumped him. Wins and losses didn't do Chiz in. What happened off the field and him not being able to correct it is what got him.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
