I use Hornady bullets in a few of my guns. 168 he AMAX is awesome outta my 308. 200 gr SST in my 338-06 AI and you don't have to worry about blood trails...

Their 270 Light Magnum ammo was my favorite. Not sure why they quit making it.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

In southern Michigan where I hunt deer you need to use either a shotgun or straight walled centerfire rounds. I bought a Ruger Ranch rifle in .450 Bushmaster and it is a tack driver. Hornady makes .450 Bushmaster rounds in their “Black” line and their “Custom” line. They are the exact same bullets but the Black line costs $7.00 a box less where I buy ammo in Bad Axe, MI. I shot a nice buck and a mature doe with it last November and they both dropped like a bad habit.

I like heavy for caliber bullets. In the 270 I'd load 150s and go kill stuff.

Sig Sauer, to hell and back reliable.

Whatever suits you just tickles me plum to death.

Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?

Once in a club that REQUIRED using Hornady ammo. Hornady didn't make .260 ammo at the time but those 129 grainers satisfied the ammo committee. The 130 or 140 .270 argument was hopeless. The 140s hit a touch higher, but the 130s seemed to expand a bit more.

Only hits count.

Huh?? Required only Hornady ammo? You gotta explain that.

Almost as dumb as having a work day on the opening day of bow season.

Not too crazy fellows, meet the prez talk guns&ammo (Like I need encouragement to talk that) "Say bring your deer rifle,we'll shoot a bit and show you around." Shoot and I swear I thought I was in Grand Island Nebraska they had so much Hornady stuff. When I found out about the "Hornady rule" I chuckled and broke out the 4350 and 129 grain btsp's and loaded 10 right there at the camphouse. The president said over the years folks that shot Hornady tended to actually shoot not just 2-3 rounds a year. Maybe old boy hated Walmart and knew us shootists would seek out Hornady? By the way I was told I could have a stand opening day that had produced deer 18 out of the last 21 seasons I gave it up to an 11 year old girl who blasted a fat three point with a .240 weatherby magnum. (Hornady has loaded Weatherby branded ammo for years.)

Only hits count.

Walmart is crooked as hell. Phuck 'em. I used to work for them at a distribution plant. Made good money but worked my ass off. They are all about that penny.

I used to work in textiles way back when.

Walmarks is the primary reason all that manufacturing left the USA. They demanded it of their suppliers, and reduced business until suppliers could prove that they were moving offshore.

Better prices for the "customers", you know.

NAFTA is the reason textiles left America. I truly hate Walmart, but they didn't provide the incentive to go outside America. That honor goes squarely to Washington. My wife was a supervisor in a major apperal company in Selma when NAFTA passed. She was unemployed less than a year later. And it wasn't a demoncrat thing either. Both parties screwed us over. I remember Bush being a great proponent for NAFTA.
But then, neither of the Bushes were conservative, the whole family is socialist.

I must be getting sick, I've found myself agreeing with Outback twice in a day.

Walmarks was a major proponent of NAFTA.

I worked for a Fruit of the Loom when walmarks told that company that we couldn't have a major promotion until we were majority import instead of majority USA made.

They got what they wanted. Over 20,000 US jobs were eliminated in the next 3 years.
