I am looking for some good rain gear. I’d like some real world reviews, What do you wear? What do you suggest to get or to definitely not get. I have plenty of warm clothes, just need an outer shell for the rough weather days. Packable would be a plus, but quiet and waterproof are the main concern.

I've used the Cabelas brand for the past 3 years in the mountains of NE Washington. Theyre very durable, light weight and can be packed easily

I have had a set of midweight Rivers West for about 12 years and it is exceptional camo as far as toughness and being waterproof.

A roof and a little bourbon on ice is what I like when it's raining.

Same. I was disappointed with how poorly the hood stays on. I bought this camo set of frog togs because I was so pleased with the black set I had for golf. They look the same but don’t fit or feel the same. I wonder if they need to get broke in.

My days of sitting directly in the rain to kill an animal are over. Ok, maybe still for ducks....

Can't beat a roof for protection from the rain, whether it's on a house, a shed or a barn or even a truck. If it's raining, I'm heading for cover. There's an old saying about people that don't have enough sense to come in out of the rain
