I don't know about y'all but I'm always finding something else that I "need".

The way i look at hunting is that if its something i like to do and i spend a lot of time doing it then its worth the investment. what is the point of putting all your money towards retirement and bs that doesnt have anything to do with having fun. Its not like we take the money with us when we die.

Can't argue with that! While we still put away for retirement, we always like to enjoy the time we are living now.

There’s a lot worse you could be doing with your time/money than bow hunting. That much I’m sure of.

Can’t take it with you when you go, but gotta have enough to get there. Just think about how much time you’d have to bowhunt if you retire at 55 because you saved while you were younger...

Yea and youre old and busted and cant hike or pack out like you used to. Makes a lot of sense to put all your money into nothing fun so you can sit in a shooting house and die of a heart attack at 62.

55 is old and busted? Dang, guess I missed that. I know 55 year olds that could work circles around me, and I’m in dang good shape.

I’m not saying don’t have fun while you’re young, but working until I’m 75 doesn’t sound like something I want to do.

And not one single person said anything about working till they are 75. The vast majority of people around 60 cannot do what they did when they were in their 20s and 30s health-wise.

I think South is saying too many people support their habits now so society can support them later.
