So just starting to do some research and after looking at about 10-12 websites, I don’t really know who I should be looking to do business with because this isn’t just a “flip a coin” decision. I want to make sure I’m spending money as wisely as possible. And I believe I’m probably too late to the game for this year, but I’m polling the experts here so I will know for next year. Me and a buddy are wanting to do a hunt with an outfitter in Kentucky. We are looking for a place where it will be fairchase but managed well for potential trophy deer. We would like to stay onsite at a lodge with meals. And we are looking for a 3-4 day hunt. As far as budget goes, we would like to try to stay in the $2500-3000 range. If anyone has had experience with a hunt like this or an outfitter in KY that they would recommend, then please any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Definitely avoid premiere outfitters. Contact Buck Country Outfitters, great folks, great lodge and meals, right in the price range.

If you like great food, scouting for guides and nobody in camp seeing deer much less killing the Premier is awesome.
